TCM & TAPM Offerings
Plant Medicine Dietas
A plant medicine dieta involves the intimate connection between the spirit of our master plant and our soul. In the world of the plants, their wisdom supports our healing. At the ICC, we offer tobacco and Chinese herbs such as cordyceps, chrysanthemum, reishi and others to diet. Some have also dieted instruments such as the didgeridoo, the flute, drum and the sacred pipe to learn and develop their shamanic healing skills.
Veterans & First Responder- Only Retreats
We believe in supporting and giving back to those who have served. On a daily basis, veterans and first responders are attempting and sadly committing suicide. This is due to the lack of resources and most importantly because they need appropriate care on all levels, not just to take pharmaceutical drugs, and the past options are not reaching the traumas and the depth of what these people truly need. That is a bandaid. Our founding Maestra understands those realms of suffering and is committed to alleviating that suffering in others, such as the veterans and first responders.
At the ICC, we work with tobacco, Chinese Medicine and sacred ceremonial retreats to allow those who need the strongest purges, support and witnessing to be held respectfully, safely and appropriately.
Apprenticeship
There are times in our lives when we know a certain path is meant for us, because it heals and helps us grow spiritually. We feel a sense of kindred connection and as we lean in, we evolve. The ICC believes in sharing the wisdom to those who are ready, willing to do the work, sincere in their commitment to living a more whole and clean life, and with those who respect the plant wisdom medicines we offer, to name a few qualities. The apprenticeship offered within the church is not open to just anyone, but to those who have been divinely called and who align with the bylaws of the church.
The opportunity to apprentice is a sacred experience of learning, evolving and expanding ones own consciousness. Many of the board members and facilitators in the church were once apprentices, and our church’s Maestra knew right when she met them.
LGBTQ & Bipoc-Only Retreats
Our founding Maestra understands the pain related to LGBTQ traumas, which are unique and often misunderstood by the public. This group of people deserve safe spaces where they are not mistreated for their sexuality or gender expression. Who you love is who you love and all are equal in the eyes of God. We strive to do what we can to provide a safe space for the healing specifically from abuse by others related to oppression and bigotry, as well as prevent it within the ceremonial, shamanic space.
